Dena Landis
Dena Landis has dedicated eighteen years to her role as a School Counselor, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her work. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2005 and her Master's degree in Counselor Education in 2008, both from East Carolina University. Outside of her professional commitments, Dena participates in self-care by creating beaded jewelry, going to Renaissance festivals, reading, gardening and spendng time with famiy.

Welcome Raiders! I am Demetrise Cobb, Mother, Wife, and Educator. I began my education journey in Criminal Justice, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Augustine's College. I later pursued a Master's degree in Guidance & Counseling at North Carolina Central University. I am now a doctorate student at East Carolina University in Education Research and Preparation. We never stop learning and serving others. I've been a School Counselor for 20 years but worked since I was 14! Don't do the math, just know I enjoy serving in education! In my free time I enjoy reading about historical events and my favorite time period is about the Harlem Renaissance. I love listening to reggae, old school music, and attending cultural festivals. One of my favorite movies is Color Purple and favorite poems is "Still I Rise" by Maya Anglou. |
